The event will run over four days as follows:
Wednesday 31 August
Arrival day. Competitors can ‘photograph in’. i.e. if they are driving into the region, they will be able to take photographs as they drive the region. Digital Cameras provide EXIF data which provides a date stamp to ensure pictures are taken ahead of the competition start date.
Registration will take place from 2.00 pm, with an event briefing at 7.00 pm with 1st speaker talk. All competitors will be given a list of ideal subject locations. The venue will be available for competitors to bring in laptops and edit images to be entered before each day's deadline.
Thursday 1 September
Complete day for photography. Images for daily prizes are to be submitted by 4.00 pm on the day. Daily judging will be done by 7.00 pm for the evening presentation and guest speaker. This would take one hour – allowing competitors time to dine before or after.
Friday 2 September
Complete day for photography. Images for daily prizes are to be submitted by 4.00 pm on the day. Daily judging will be done by 7.00 pm for the evening presentation and guest speaker. This would take one hour – allowing competitors time to dine before or after.
Saturday 3 September
Half a day for photography. Final image entries are to be submitted by Midday. Daily judging is to be done and ready for announcements by 5.00 pm. Final prize giving and dinner to follow.

Sunday 4 September
Day for departure or to continue exploring the region.
